Medellin Airports

There are two airports in Medellin: The Jose Maria Cordoba Airport (MDE) and the Enrique Olaya Herrera Airport (EOH).

The Jose Maria Cordoba Airport (MDE) is located about 45 mins outside of the city and is for both domestic and international flights. There are a couple of ATM’s in the airport as well as money exchanges (however, you might not want to exchange a great amount of money here as the exchange rate is better near Parque Poblado). There are a couple of stores for casual shopping but they’re nothing spectacular.

The Enrique Olaya Herrera Airport (EOH) is located south of the center of Medellin and is only used for domestic flights within Colombia for the airlines EasyFly, ADA and Satena. It’s a very short taxi ride to arrive at the airport from anywhere in Medellin.
